Heart Avenue Association Bahrain Chapter, "In safe hands" at King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali, Bahrain
A’ALI, BAHRAIN — In an effort to champion inclusivity and emotional growth through creative mediums, a specialized art session was successfully held for neurodivergent youth. The event transformed a standard hospital visit into a vibrant, safe space dedicated entirely to children under the care of the local pediatric community.
The initiative was designed to offer an immersive, supportive environment where young participants could explore self-expression, unleash their creativity, and build meaningful emotional connections. Breaking away from traditional clinical routines, the session allowed the children to interact with art as a tool for healing and communication. To further support their journey, organizers also distributed small, carefully prepared care kits to the children during the event.
This grassroots efforts was made possible through a close collaboration between the medical institution and community advocates, bringing together the Heart Avenue Association and In Safe Hands (HAA). By blending healthcare with community-driven art, the organizers highlighted the vital importance of tailored, creative care for child development in the region.
